I think half the problem is that people today are too quick to support overweight women and encourage them to love their curves when in fact they should be encouraging them to lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle.

I wore number 8 throughout little league, high school and college because I always thought the most great players wore that number. Many HOFers have, I believe it's the most retired number in baseball.

I think it's close between Ripken and Berra. I'd give it to Ripken for being who I think is the best shortstop in baseball history. I put Berra a notch behind Johnny Bench.





I will add this -- I think you could make a case for Joe Morgan being the best all-around second baseman in baseball history, which might move him into the argument.

Being from the KC area, and a lifelong Royals fan, it's gotta be George Brett. DiMaggio, Bench, Robinson, Greenberg, etc are all great players, but Brett set the standard at 3rd base that still exists today. since he didn't play for a high profile team (i.e. Yankees, Red Sox), he's pretty much overlooked for the most part. but he was a great player through and through.

The ones I have dated do, and my guy friends are all unanimous on the issue...yes! And it has everything to do with your personal style and being comfortable in your skin..more than if you wear makeup all the time or wear certain labels...I love my curves and would rather look like I actually went through puberty...it's called womanhood for a reason...when you are in love with you (convinced and not conceited) the ones who love you too show up..and the other ones...you're too busy living life to notice them at all. I like to remind people that Marilyn Monroe was a size 12...

A couple of things on this one.


First: I dated a full figure girl and never thought about it until one time when I went out with a skinny girl. When I put my arms around the skinny one to give her a hug it was a real turn off because all I could feel was bones. It didn't feel right and I didn't like it.


Second: I find fuller figure girls to be more fun, more sensitive, more kind and all around more pleasant to be with. Yes, I married the fuller figured girl and no regrets.Do any men find fuller figure women attractive? I am talking about ones who wear makeup and great clothes.?
I see these do any men like this or that questions. Ladies all guys are different. I'm an African-American male and I like and a lot of A.A. men like a woman with some meat on her. Not the skinny, big breasted white women I see on tv. We prefer women who are evenly proportionate.

what a great way to try and make us feel better! We wera makeup because there is so much expectation from other girls (friends, cousins etc) for us to look good and when we look inthe mirror after having a bad day (arguements with friends, being dumped), we automatically blame it on our looks. We also tend to think that unless we wear makeup, we won't look older, or sophisticated. It is a way of proving we are growing up and also, to fool people into thinking we are goddesses when sometimes we are not!

we don't have to wear makeup, it's a personal choice. and personally, those commercials do not brainwash me as i know that everyone on there has been airbrushed to no end. i just like experimenting with the colors and i find it fun to play around with it.
i agree but i also wana say that theres a huge difference between ladies plastering on a mask of make up and what most women do which is just put on a bit to enhance features and give a little self confidence boost. personally i think less is definately more and a bit of lip gloss and white eyeliner is all a gal needs!!!

were just naturally self-conscious. generally boys dont care that much how they look, but girls always want to look their best. i think there is some brainwashing involved, but hey, we do look better with it on. it can bring out our best features and also make them look even better. however i can see your point as without makeup we look fresher and cleaner. there is beauty in simplicity.

Some girls are scary w/o makeup. Some girls feel more confident in makeup. Some are scary WITH makeup(remember Tammy Faye Baker??). Less is more and makeup in moderation looks nice. We girls like to be pretty. Most of us are wired that way.
