What's a great outfit to wear for the first day of high school?

i wanna look put together and cute for the first day of high school, but not like I'm trying too hard. any suggestions? What's a great outfit to wear for the first day of high school?
A great outfit to wear the first day of school should be something that is comfortable to you, being uncomfortable the first day of school due to a bad outfit is the worst feeling ever. It should be something that is not too tight (the trying too hard look), and not too baggy (the sloppy lazy look).

Don't wear anything you wouldn't normally wear!

I recommend looking at these...

Also, make sure your shoes are comfortable!

I really don't recommend buying new flats or wedges for the first day!

I would say pick some flip flops or tennis shoes.

My best recommendation is that you just go to your local target and pick out a cute cheap comfy outfit.

Good luck! What's a great outfit to wear for the first day of high school?
Wear a nice pair of jeans that look flattering on you, then a cool shirt (not too low cut/tight). dark blue jeans with black shirts always look good =) and wear boots/sneakers that match.

Keep in mind, wear something that you would normally wear (maybe the pants or the shirt, doesn't have to be both if the clothes are really nice) and wear your hair as you normally would. If you go to school all dolled up with your hair done and fancy shmancy clothes, people will notice. They will also notice, however, if you never wear those clothes or your hair like that again and for those who pay too much attention, they'll realize that you dressed up. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Remember, you want to impress your peers AND your teachers. Don't over-do it with the makeup or stilettos, ect. Keep is simple, clean, neat, and cool.

I don't recommend wearing a skirt on your first day.

Try on a few different outfits and see what you like best. Ask a friend/sister/mom/aunt for an opinion. They'll be honest.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
wear what you normally wear. you don't wanna be too dressed up and have to maintain that look all year. also be comfortable because there will be alot of walking and hassle. good luck

maybe some skinny's with flats and a nice shirt; very comfortable yet stylish. don't forget to accesorize!
