Help with a great way to diguise wear on cream leather suite.?

I have a cream leather suite with dark cracks appearing where the leather is wearing away. Does anyone have any ideas how to diguise it, anything stupid is better that nothing, I thought about paint or shoe polish, failing a diguise its a throw then I suppose eh?Help with a great way to diguise wear on cream leather suite.?
I had the same problem and a friend who is an upholsterer told me to look on this web page:-

you can't repair leather that has begun to crack as a result of poor hydration. You can help to prevent it form getting any worse by treating with leather conditioner. As for continuing to wear the outfit, a shawl or something would likely be the best idea if the problem is in the coat but I am afraid that it won't help if the problem is in the pants. Shoe polish and paint will only exacerbate the situation and ruin the rest of the leather.
the only thing i would have suggested would be the paint option, probably shoe polish would be better as the paint would crack itself after a while.

that's the only thing i can think of myself.
saddle soap will help to soften the leather, as the cracks have appeared as its dried out, you need to treat leather as it will become hard and brittle, saddle soap will help reduce the marks
Shoe polish will rub off.

Maybe use a proper leather dye, but do a small patch test on a part that won't be seen first, then see if it looks ok and doesn't rub, then do the rest :-)
yeh, a throw!
