What are some great boots to wear on campus this winter when it starts to get cold and snow?

I've always been a sucker for those long lace-up boots that reach up to your upper calves/knees. I adore black ones with little fur because black goes with practically everything, and boots with too much fur look way too flashy for my taste. They also aren't cute when they get wet from the snow.
i like Minnetonka Fringed Tall Boots, not many people wear them so they're more original than UGGS but still comfy .. i can't think of much else right now /= but I do know that Urban Outfitters usually has some pretty cool boots so check that out (:happy shopping

these don't look like ugg boots, be careful with them though, make sure they are wool and not synthetic, no puddles and no snow fights, as they will make your feet very cold afterward
