ive been told that the snow is already starting and that its pretty cold.. im from Miami so i have no idea what kind of coat to wear.. or where to buy winter clothes in florida.. also i will be going to navy bootcamp so really dont think i want to wear a bubble jacket i rather wear something that can make me look slimmer .. what kind of pants , what material should my coat be.. ive never been in snow please help thanksWhat to wear to Great Lakes Ilinois NOV 24 2008?
I would have 2 layers of fleece under regular clothes and boots. Fleece is very light and it breathes...a fleece vest under a fleece jacket under a coat that repels rain/snow. You can always shed a layer if gets warm...doubtful but possible on 11/24. Don't forget a warm hat, warm gloves, and a scarf. Bring your sunglasses. Warm clothes, if you aren't used to cold weather, you will freeze. As far as pants go, jeans are fine, but you may want some long johns underneath.
