sunglasses rarely fit me, so as an experiment, I tried a pair of Oakley ';Dart'; sunglasses. They fit me perfectly, but I'm concerned it may be considered taboo for me to wear glasses marketed as a women's product. Am I being paranoid? If it fits perfectly and looks great, Is it ok for guys to wear Oakley ';womens'; Dart sunglasses?
Hey, if you're sure they fit perfect and work for you, wear 'em. Many of the ';men's'; models end up being unisex and get worn by women as-is. And the Dart is a model indeed worn by men at times (see link).
The Conduct is a design similar to the Dart, but is supposedly for men. However, it's rounder than the Dart and more feminine, in my opinion.
Anyway, no, you're not being paranoid. You could wear one or two color combos of the Dart as a guy and probably look a little funky. But you're not going to be the first guy wearing the Dart, or wearing sunglasses supposedly targeted at women, for that matter. Just stay clear of purses, nylons, high heels, and Lifetime. Add on those and you're heading into taboo. If it fits perfectly and looks great, Is it ok for guys to wear Oakley ';womens'; Dart sunglasses?
Once they aren't very obviously women's glasses with diamonds and love hearts you should be fine =) You could always say they are a new men's range too ^.^ So don't be paranoid! They prob look unisex
I don't think you are being paranoid at all. We sell a lot of the Oakley Dart, and honestly we sell them to both women and men! I think if they are comfortable, and you like the look, the wear em with pride!
