I thought you were asking about a cat. You start when the cat is resting comfortably in your lap. You may only get one or two nails the first time. Go slowly and just keep doing it regularly, rotating around the nails on each paw until you've gotten all ten.
Don't go at the task with big INTENTION, that will make the cat skittish and you won't be able to accomplish anything.

just a plain black dress or plain black pants and a black top forget the cami. This is a time for respect, and you wear the simplist of simple not an ensemble trust me on this simple is better hair clean and combed pulled back if necessary.

You could wear something basic, like a polo shirt and jeans, but top it off with great makeup and accessories. Red lips are totally in for fall. So are smokey eyes, and head scarves. Don't worry- if you tie them on one side of your head near your neck below your earlobe, and let a little hair fall in front of it to frame your face, it doesn't look grannyish at all. I wore one to a friend's dinner party on Monday and got tons of compliments on it.

Be yourself! Wear what you like, what is comfortable and what reflects you personally. Don't be afraid to try something new, or even go out in your pj's (a lot of 8am clsses will do that to you!) You can follow trends and still incorporate your own style into them. Whatever you do... don't be a cookie cutter image of everyone else!
To find out what is ';in'; right now, check out some magazines and look around on the web. Shop at your favorite stores and put together some basics. Make sure to get great fitting jeans!!! When you put together your basic wardrobe, play around with accessories! Take someone along with you, to make sure that fits and colors are right. It always helps to have an honest friend with you.

You could wear something basic, like a polo shirt and jeans, but top it off with great makeup and accessories. Red lips are totally in for fall. So are smokey eyes, and head scarves. Don't worry- if you tie them on one side of your head near your neck below your earlobe, and let a little hair fall in front of it to frame your face, it doesn't look grannyish at all. I wore one to a friend's dinner party on Monday and got tons of compliments on it.

If you have a nice dress just go to Micheal's and buy a plastic mask and feathers and jewels to glue on it to make it unique. That is what I did when I went it was cheap and easy. If you search yahoo images for masquerade masks you can get a lot of ideas. Good luck and enjoy.

I've been graduated for a year now from high school. I always chose something simple but cute for my first day. I wanted to be comfortable, but look nice at the same time. Walking around lost in something that you may not be 100% comfy in will do nothing other than further stress you out on your first day. And hey, good impressions are everything to a first day high schooler. Just don't do anything so drastic that's not you. Have fun with it!!!

sunglasses rarely fit me, so as an experiment, I tried a pair of Oakley ';Dart'; sunglasses. They fit me perfectly, but I'm concerned it may be considered taboo for me to wear glasses marketed as a women's product. I have never attended a wedding that is so elegant and formal before. I would like to look classy as well as sexy. I was thinking about a black dress with pearls and open toe heals. Any suggestions? Wedding ettiquette is very tricky. Unless the wedding is after 6pm, Black is VERY inappropriate. Remember - this is the brides day, not yours. Black at the wedding can be taken to mean you disapprove of the match and are being subtle. Even for an evening wedding, I've find a jewel tone that looks good with your skin tone.
Go to any High end department store, like Macy's or Saks or Nordie's. They will have someone who can help you pick out the perfect dress. Remember to tall them the time of the wedding and that it is formal. Also mention if it's in a garden of a church or someone's house - that makes a difference.
My final suggestion is that if you want sexy, go ultra feminine. Gauzy, flowing materials with a fairly form fitting cut - spaghetti straps or strapless. Full length. Wear comfortable shoes - hopefully you'll be dancing till dawn with a handsome fellow party goer! Hair up and light and wispy. light make up. Understate - go girl next door. You want people to think your not really trying because it's curteous to your friend to let her be the most beautiful woman in the room. I wear these and have the same problem. I have found that using an eye drop before going to bed solves it. I think it is because the eye dries out and the lens loses its adhesion to the eye.
The eye drops I use are made by optrex and are for refreshing and moistening dry eyes. They are marked safe for contact lens users. There are several makes. You will find them in a supermarket on the shelves where they sell the cleaning stuff for contact lenses, or ask a pharmacist.

My brother had bad sight all his life muntil he decided enough was enough. Would you consider having minor laser surgery to your eyes, it only takes a few minutes and my brother has never looked back. Brilliant he said. might be worth investigating and getting all the info.

Your date could wear a nice hawaiian shirt and nice pants. You could match your dress to the color of his shirt. Wearing your hair up with a flower would be pretty. For your shoes, choose something fun like a sandal heel.

My dress is backless and sleeveless and has halter ties/straps. It has a very low plunging neckline. On all my suits, the fabric in the trousers wears through and creats a tear / hole, while the rest of the trousers and the jacket are in good, wearable condition. When I can, I buy two pairs of trousers; but most labels (including my favourite) don't do this. This suits me best for 4 reasons:

2. I don't feel bored wearing the same old suit day in day out!
3. I can buy the skirt, trousers and jacket in different sizes. Being a typical pear shape I need bigger size trousers/skirt than i do jacket.
4. I can vary my look more. A shirt and flat shoes with the trousers one day and a nice camisole and higher shoes with the skirt another day.
Next are great for suits that are purchased as separates, usually doing two styles of jacket and up to 4 different skirts and trouser styles to match. Primark used to do the same but as our local Primark closed down last year I've not been able to see what they have on offer recently. Wallis and Principles (though slightly more expensive) also do the same kind of thing.
If I have a jacket that despite all my efforts outlasts the bottoms I will try and find a toning skirt/trousers to match or go for a total contrast. I had a lovely black jacket (I had worn out and outgrown the trousers!) so I teamed it with a black and cream printed layered chiffon skirt and matching cream camisole top. It looked fantastic with cream loafers for a casual look and very feminine with black kitten heel mules.
A navy pinstripe jacket looked great with a pair of plain navy trousers and a fitted white t-shirt and a navy and white printed chiffon scarf threaded through the belt loops and tied like a belt.
I've not managed to find a way of preserving fabrics to make the trousers last longer but I do find that I'm not as heavy with skirts and I find they do outlast the trousers.

A great outfit to wear the first day of school should be something that is comfortable to you, being uncomfortable the first day of school due to a bad outfit is the worst feeling ever. It should be something that is not too tight (the trying too hard look), and not too baggy (the sloppy lazy look).
Don't wear anything you wouldn't normally wear!

I would say pick some flip flops or tennis shoes.
My best recommendation is that you just go to your local target and pick out a cute cheap comfy outfit.

You may not be able to bend the heel a little, there is nothing wronger the low quality high heels. Perhaps you have seen women wearing this ones yet, the heels are inlined if weight comes on them. Do some exercises to strengthn the calf muscels. Stretch the tendons. Massage your feet, or better let someone massage them :-)
I would also recommend cushion pads for the foot balls.
Keep practicing! I'm not quite that far myself but I'm comfortable in 4 inch after some practice.

My school is going this Wednesday(YAY!). The weather is going to be...eh. Sixty percent chance of rain and the high is 61. You can go to stores like A%26amp;F or Hollister, or American Eagle ect... and buy the different color polos you are aloud to wear and also the stores sell the type of pants you can wear so you can buy those there to so you can still be stylish and when you have to wear a uniform, because you are wearing lable brand clothes.

Shorts and a t-shirt. You may want to bring a light jacket and another t-shirt in a backpack- you may get wet and want to change.
tee shirt and some shorts make sure you bring dry clothes to keep in car or locker you will get wet on some of the rides. make sure you wear good walking shoes. also bring extra socks and shoes for trip home. light coat
whatever you do NO FLIP FLOPS. it's a huge hassle on the rides. just keep it light and maybe a small jacket.thin hair

Shorts and a t-shirt. You may want to bring a light jacket and another t-shirt in a backpack- you may get wet and want to change.
tee shirt and some shorts make sure you bring dry clothes to keep in car or locker you will get wet on some of the rides. make sure you wear good walking shoes. also bring extra socks and shoes for trip home. light coat
whatever you do NO FLIP FLOPS. it's a huge hassle on the rides. just keep it light and maybe a small jacket.

I'd go either turquoise or yellow. Yellow is a pretty big color this year...but turquoise would go really pretty too...
Red would be a bit cliche, but you could still wear it...

I'm not sure if I would wear bright colored shoes.
The dress is your focal point. Nobody will have a dress like yours. I would keep the shoes classic and simple. With the high heel, it'll show off the legs, but keep your from that ';trying too hard'; look. Here is my suggestion for shoes.

I think bold red shoes would make you look outstanding! Try looking for very bold attractive colours for shoes, and make sure that they have look good with the dress!
A red patent pump would be great. The dress is black and cream, so the red would really make it pop. You could also pair it with red nail polish, but don't go overboard with makeup. The shoes and nails would be enough, so keep the skin natural. It will look great!

I think a closed toe pair of a brighter pink or deep purple pumps would rock this outfit! I have tons of bright colored pumps! Even a yellow would look awesome!
